![]() Day 2 (Cuba Double Decker Bus Tour): Cruise March 8,2016. We arrived in Cuba and to our surprise docked right in old Havana Harbour and a great place to do walking and bus tours from. We got of the ship, went through customs that was a little confusing the first time. The return and next day off the ship they just looked at our MSC Cruise card and we went on our way. First day we just walked around a little. There is lots of Historic buildings outside and in on display. Some are free and some charge $3 to $5 coups. Many art galaries and displays of all types you just walk in and are greated by a smiling Cuban guide, some speak english but most don't but still try their best. We asked about a Double Decker Bus Tour and it was at 3pm but there are other times. The tour was 20coups or approx. $20 USD but you need the coups so you will have to exchange your money for coups and you can do that when you get off the ship just outside of customs. Check out the Double Decker Bus tour on my March 8th page. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Suggestions.: Bring a few bottles of water and maybe a snack as there is no stores to buy anything. Change pesos / USD for coups which is approx. $1.1 USD = 1 coup (Cuba Tourist Currency). You get into most art exibitions and musuems for free or under $5 coups. Bring a geotracker and plan your trip. The buildings are tall and you can get lost when wandering realy easy. You can get back to the ship with a geotracker easily. |
