Ok, what can I say about Jamaica. I wish that MSC would have let us stay 2 extra days in Old Havana Cuba and skiped Jamaica. They could have saved money on the fuel and we would have been exceptionally thrilled with having MSC Opera as our floating hotel in the Old Havana harbour.
If we go on this cruise again we will not be getting off the ship in Jamaica. Our tour driver was very protective of us that we are thankful for. He showed us a local paper full of murders, stabbings and roberies. So we did not feel safe here and it seems our fears are well founded. Jamaica is labeled the 7th worst country in the world to travel to and it suggested you Don’t Go There. ("Jamaica is a tropical paradise. The severe and overwhelming poverty of the locals has led to many robberies. The severe and overwhelming poverty of the locals has led to many robberies. Jamaica is known for its stabbings, as well as being a cruise ship docking location.")
